2011 Treatment Costs
Fairview Acupuncture aims to make treatments as affordable as possible and to offer treatments that fit with people's lives. To this end, evening and weekend appointments are available.
Treatment cost is €55 for the first consultation and treatment; and €45 per weekly session.
A patient's first appointment involves the taking of a detailed case history and can last about 90 minutes. Thereafter, the treatment session usually lasts 50 minutes to 1 hour.
Treatments are usually given on a weekly basis. In some cases treatment may be required twice per week.
Cupping, electro-acupuncture, auricular-therapy or moxa may be included in the treatments, as appropriate, at no additional cost.
Rates of improvement depend on the individual and the nature and severity of the complaint. The patient's progress and treatment is evaluated on each visit.
